Checking the components

Activate the read and reset button on the indicator switch and read status.

HINT: If read-out of status on read and reset button gave a correct result the fault is not in the SWM.

Did read-out of status on read and reset button give a correct result? 

• YES 

  FAULT NOT FOUND:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Replacing the indicator switch .

Activate reset button on indicator switch and read status.

HINT: If read-out of status on read and reset button gave a correct result the fault is not in the indicator switch.

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• no 

  Refer to Replacing the control unit .
