Checking the control module connectors

• Ignition off.
• Check control module connector terminal #3 for loose connections and for contact resistance. Remedy loose connections according to Loose connections (terminals) . Remedy Contact resistance and oxidation .
• Connect the brake valve/clutch valve.
• Connect the control module.
• Connect the Volvo Scan Tool (ST) to the data link connector (DLC).
• Ignition on.

  • Activate the Scan Tool (ST) in MODE 2.
  • Move the switch from ON to OFF or from OFF to ON.
  • Check whether response code 1-1-3 is returned.

Is response code 1-1-3 returned? 

• YES

• NO 

  Refer to Replacing the component
