Installing the power brake booster

Clean the power brake booster and the cowl panel.

Install in the engine compartment: 

• A new gasket on the power brake booster
• The power brake booster. Ensure that the support rod is correctly positioned on the brake pedal
• the vacuum hose.

Install in the passenger compartment: 

• The 4 nuts for the power brake booster
• tighten to 23 Nm 
• the bolt, washer and spring for the support rod
• The soundproofing panel.
  NOTE: The wiring for the courtesy lighting.
• The screws for the soundproofing panel.
