Combined instrument panel, replacing components

Observe the following when working on the combined instrument panel:
Cleanliness: the workplace must be free of dust, dirt, oil and solvents etc.
• Always wash your hands before removing the combined instrument panel. Do not use hand cream or lotion after washing. If using protective gloves, they must be made of thin cotton. Synthetic materials can cause static electricity.
• The printed circuit board must not be exposed to static electricity.
• Do not touch the printed circuit board or the instrument surfaces. Do not touch the instrument needles. They are factory calibrated. If the needles are moved it is necessary to replace the instrument.
