Checking solenoid SLT

• Ignition on
• Activate solenoid SLT.

  Check that the solenoid " clicks" on activation and that the current changes from approximately 0 to 1 A. Use a stethoscope to hear the sound more clearly.

  If no "click" is heard, this indicates that there is a mechanical fault.

Was there a click from the solenoid? 

• YES 

  Refer to Test driving 

• NO
