Fault-tracing information

The transmission control module (TCM) has previously registered a fault but the faulty no longer occurs. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was probably caused by an intermittent fault. If the fault remains, fault tracing according to this diagnostic trouble code (DTC) should be carried out despite no fault symptoms being detected. The fault is evaluated on an individual basis.
