Checking the wiring

• Ignition off
• The breakout box connected
• Transmission connector D disconnected.

  Check the cable between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #A49 (#A49) and transmission connector terminal #D5 (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to ground. See Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

  Check the cable between control module terminal #B7 (#A67) and transmission connector terminal #D6 (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to ground. See Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

  Remedy as necessary.
