Checking line pressure solenoid SLU

• Ignition off
• Check the transmission control module (TCM) connector and transmission connector D. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See Contact resistance and oxidation . Remedy if necessary
• Reinstall the components, reconnect the connectors etc.
• Ignition on
• Activate solenoid SLU.

  Read off the current through the solenoid SLU circuit.

  The current should oscillate between 0 and 1000 mA.

Does the current oscillate? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Checking resistance
