Checking the wiring

• Ignition off
• The breakout box connected
• Disconnect transmission connector D.

  Check the cable between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #A51 (#A51) and transmission connector terminal #D1 (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. See Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

  Check the cable between control module terminal #B9 (#A69) and transmission connector terminal #D2 (control module side). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. See Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

  Also check against the other cables in the circuit. Use the relevant wiring diagram.

  Remedy as necessary.
