HINT: To check that the fault is remedied, test drive the car and then read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

Does diagnostic trouble code (DTC) TCM-0097 or TCM-0098 recur? 

• YES 

  Refer to Replacing the transmission control module (TCM) 

• NO 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.
