Intermittent fault
- Ignition off.
Check the transmission control module (TCM) and transmission connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation .
Check the wiring between transmission control module (TCM) terminal #A41 (#A41) and transmission connector terminal #A1. Check the wiring between control module terminal #A59 (#A59) and transmission connector terminal #A2. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults . Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults . Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .
Remedy as necessary.
