Intermittent fault
Check the cable between control module terminal #51 (#A51) and transmission connector #T (#A17) for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults .
Check the wiring between control module terminal 53 (#A53) and transmission connector #E (#A5) for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults .
HINT: With the ignition off and the control module disconnected, the resistance between control module terminal 51 (#A51) and ground (breakout box #53) should be 11-15 Ω.
Remedy as necessary.
