Intermittent fault
Check the control module and transmission connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. See Contact resistance and oxidation .
Check the cable between control module terminal #B8 (#A68) and transmission connector terminal #C2. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .
- Check the circuit for solenoid S2. Switch off the ignition. Disconnect the control module. Measure the resistance between terminals #B8 (#A68) and #A53 (#A53) on the breakout box. The resistance must be 11-15 Ω.
Remedy as necessary.
