Removing the hose for the heater pipe
Disconnect the hose from the heater pipes at the firewall so that the pipe in the heater unit is not damaged when lowering the engine (the rubber hose is short).
Twist the catch (see the arrow) on the hose connection. Pull the quick-release connector straight out. A small amount of water should run out (tie the hose up).
Disconnect the ground strip (applies to older models).
