Removing the oil pump

NOTE:

In order to replace the lock-up solenoid, the oil pump must be removed from the control system. This is so that the spring clip holding the solenoid can be accessed.

The shiny screw (1) must not be removed, it holds the oil pump together.

Remove:

the temperature sensor with the cable harness from the clip
the connector from the solenoid. Fold the cable harness out of the way
the screws, not the shiny screws (1).
