Installing the flange on the pinion

If necessary, use press tool 9995504 .

Installing a new nut in the carrier

Install a new lubricated nut .

NOTE:

There must be no axial play.

Tighten to 180-200 Nm . Use counterhold 9995652 with adapter 9997058 .

NOTE:

Do not exceed 200 Nm. The forces on the pinion's bearing may become too great, causing bearing failure.
