Removing the control arm from the ball joint

Lightly apply mobile jack 9985972 under the right-hand side of the sub-frame.

Remove the screws from the support bracket for the sub-frame on the right-hand side

Slacken off the screws for the sub-frame. Ensure that they are still secured by at least 5 threads. Remove the jack.

Unhook the control arms from the ball joint. Install protective socket 9995562 . Hold the socket in place using the ball joint nut.
