Checking wiring and sensors

Check the wiring between the control module for the steering wheel angle sensor:

terminal #9 (terminal (#A33) and steering wheel module (SWM) terminal #12 (terminal #A12)

for a short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Try replacing the steering wheel angle sensor if no faults are found in the wiring between the control module and the steering wheel angle sensor.
