Removing the power steering pump

Remove: 

• the three mounting screws for the power steering pump through the hole in the pulley
• the stay at the rear edge of the power steering pump (applies only to diesel)
• the power steering pump by lifting it straight up.

Raise the front end so that the wheels are unimpeded.

Turn the steering wheel between full locks. Collect oil spillage from the pressure and return hose.
