Checking pump pressure

Left limit position: 

• Start the engine.
• Turn the steering wheel to the left. Press the steering wheel to the limit position for a maximum of 5 seconds while reading off the manometer.
• Correct pressure:

  Pump A = 10.0-11.0 MPa

  Pump B = 11.0-12.0 MPa

Right limit position: 

• Turn the steering wheel to the right limit position and read the manometer according to the previous operation.

If the correct value is not reached there is an internal leak in the steering gear. The steering gear must then be replaced by a new one.
