Checking wiring and terminals

• Ignition off, wait for 15 seconds.
• Unplug the 10-pin connector from the occupant weight sensor (OWS).
• Unplug the 3-pin connector from the pressure sensor.
  CAUTION:

  Avoid touching the contact pin of the occupant weight sensor (OWS). Risk of electrostatic discharge that may cause damage in occupant weight sensor (OWS).

  Check the connectors between the pressure sensor and the occupant weight sensor (OWS) for damaged pins and connections.

  Remedy as necessary.

  Check the leads between pressure sensor and the occupant weight sensor (OWS) for short-circuiting to voltage/ground and open circuit.

  Remedy as necessary.
