Condition

The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks the signal from the switch for the passenger airbag.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that the voltage in the signal cable is outside the measurement range.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II and III.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Incorrect voltage level in the signal cable between the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) and the switch for the passenger airbag.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
