Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-0225

Condition 

The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks messages regarding vehicle configuration on the CAN network between the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) and the central electronic module (CEM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers a configuration fault for the occupant weight sensor (OWS).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on (12 V). In other words, the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can only be diagnosed when the ignition is switched from position 0 to positions I, II or III.
