Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-0220

Condition 

The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) checks signals on the CAN network between the supplemental restraint system module (SRS) and the central electronic module (CEM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers that there is no signal about the position of the front seats on the CAN network.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II and III.

• Open-circuit in the control area network (CAN)
• Fault in the central electronic module (CEM)
• Fault in the seat position sensor.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
