Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-0211

Condition

The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal from the front right front impact sensor.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-0211 is stored if the control module registers a communication fault in the signal cable for longer than 10 seconds.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-0211 can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Contact resistance or open-circuit in the signal cable between the front right front impact sensor and the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS)
• Open-circuit in the front impact sensor (defective front impact sensor).

Fault symptom[s] 

• The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
