The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal in the control area network (CAN) bus.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-020C is stored if the parameter file in the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) and in the central electronic module (CEM) (car config) for the parameter "with or without AOS" do not correspond.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-020C can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

Possible Source 

• Incorrect car configurations in the central electronic module (CEM) or incorrect parameter files in the SRS system
• Car configurations in the central electronic module (CEM) or parameter files in the SRS system.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
