Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-00A3

The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) checks the signal from the inflatable curtain.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00A3 is stored if the control module registers that the capacitance in the signal cable is too low for longer than 10 seconds.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-00A3 can be diagnosed in ignition positions I, II or III.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• The capacitance is too low in the integrated capacitor in the connector for the SRS ignition cable.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
