Intermittent fault
- Ignition off.WARNING:
Never use an ohmmeter or any other charged measuring instrument on a disconnected, undeployed explosive inflatable curtain. There is a risk that the inflatable curtain could be deployed
CAUTION:Avoid touching the contact pins in the supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit. There is a risk of an electrostatic discharge which can cause damage to the supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit.
Check the supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit connector and the inflatable curtain connector for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Contact resistance and oxidation and for a loose contact as described in Loose connections (terminals) .
Check the wire between the supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit #21C (21), #22C (22) and connector 1, 3 on right inflatable curtain for an intermittent short circuit to voltage supply as described in Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .
Do the necessary corrective action.

- With ignition off and right inflatable curtain connector and SRS control unit connector disconnected, the resistance between inflatable curtain connector 1, 3 (to supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit) and the disconnected battery positive lead should be infinite
