Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

One of the following diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) will be stored if the resistance in any of the wiring circuits is lower than 10 Ω for longer than 10 seconds:

SRS-0036

SRS-003E

SRS-0046

SRS-004E

SRS-0056

SRS-005E

depending on which wiring circuit the fault is in.

Possible Source 

• If the SRS control module identifies that a side impact protection (SIPS) bag is installed, despite the control module being programmed that a side impact protection (SIPS) bag is not installed.

Fault symptom[s] 

The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
