Checking components and wires
- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the special tool

from the air curtain connector on the left side.WARNING:
Never use an ohmmeter or any other charged measuring instrument on a disconnected, undeployed explosive inflatable curtain. There is a risk that the inflatable curtain could be deployed
CAUTION:Avoid touching the contact pins in the supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit. There is a risk of an electrostatic discharge which can cause damage to the supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit.
Check the wire between the supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit 21A (21), 22A (22) and connector 1, 3 on the left inflatable curtain for a short circuit to voltage supply as described in Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .
Do the necessary corrective action.

- With ignition off and the left inflatable curtain connector disconnected and SRS control unit connector disconnected, the resistance between the inflatable curtain connector 1, 3 (to the supplemental restraint system (SRS) control unit) and the battery positive lead should be infinite
