• Ignition off
• Disconnect the 2-pin connector under the left-hand seat.
  WARNING:

  Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected, non-deployed, pyrotechnical airbag. This could deploy the airbag

  CAUTION:

  Do not touch the terminal pins in the SRS control module. There is a risk of static discharge. This could damage the SRS control module.

  Check the cable between the SRS control module terminal #4A (4) and the 2-pin connector terminal #1 for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .

  Check the cable between the SRS control module terminal #3A (3) and the 2-pin connector terminal #2 for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults .
