Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

One of the following diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) will be stored if the resistance in any of the wiring circuits is lower than 10 Ω for longer than 10 seconds:

SRS-0016, SRS-001E,

SRS-0026, SRS-002E,

SRS-0036, SRS-003E,

SRS-0046, SRS-004E,

SRS-0056, SRS-005E,

depending on which wiring circuit the fault is in.

Possible Source 

• If the SRS control module identifies that an airbag or a seat belt tensioner is installed, despite the control module being programmed that neither should be installed.

Fault symptom[s] 

The SRS indicator lamp is lit.
