Component resistance values

The resistance values assume a temperature of +20°C unless otherwise stated.

NOTE: For the damper motors, a diode must be connected in series with each winding. This can have a great effect on the measurement value when resistance testing if measured using a tool other than VIDA. The resistance given will be significantly higher than the value given in the table below.

-40°C = approximately 91.8 kΩ
-30°C = approximately 48.4 kΩ
-20°C = approximately 26.6 kΩ
-10°C = approximately 15.2 kΩ
0°C = approximately 9.0 kΩ
10°C = approximately 5.5 kΩ
20°C = approximately 3.4 kΩ
30°C = approximately 2.2 kΩ
40°C = approximately 1.5 kΩ
50°C = approximately 1.0 kΩ
60°C = approximately 0.7 kΩ
70°C = approximately 0.5 kΩ
80°C = approximately 0.3 kΩ
90°C = approximately 0.2 kΩ
Blower fan motor power unit Resistance:
#A4-#A1 = 510 Ω
#A3-#B1 = 4.7 kΩ
Damper motor normal (temp l/r, def) Resistance in the windings between terminals:
#1-#3 = 46 Ω
#1-#4 = 46 Ω
#1-#5 = 46 Ω
#1-#6 = 46 Ω
Damper motor fast (floor/vent, rec, mode) Resistance in the windings between terminals:
#1-#3 = 15 Ω
#1-#4 = 15 Ω
#1-#5 = 15 Ω
#1-#6 = 15 Ω
Fan motor passenger compartment temperature sensor Resistance in the windings between terminals:
#3-#4 = 68 Ω
#1-#5 = 450-900 Ω
