Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CCM-0053

Condition

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the climate control module (CCM) registers that the signal from the air distribution control exceeds 99% or is less than 1% of supply voltage (approximately 5 V).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I and II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Defective potentiometer
• Short-circuit to supply voltage or ground in the potentiometer.

Fault symptom[s] 

• No air distribution function.
