Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CCM-0051

Condition

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the climate control module (CCM) registers that the signal from the temperature control for the left-hand side exceeds 99%, or is less than 1% of supply voltage (approximately 5 V).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions I and II.

Substitute Value 

• The climate control module (CCM) adopts a value corresponding to half of the maximum output of the temperature control.

Possible Source 

• Defective potentiometer
• Short-circuit to supply voltage or ground in the potentiometer.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The passenger compartment temperature does not correspond to the set value.
