Verification - Manual climate control: Verification

HINT: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.

• Ignition off.
• Connect the connectors, install the components, etc.
• Ignition on.
• Blower motor on.

  Check that damper motor position changes by activating and de-activating from control panel. The values given below are the standard values that the damper motor positions should give.

  NOTE:

  Blower motor must be in operation to activate the damper motors.

  • Left/right damper motor temperature, 0-100%
  • Recirculation damper motor, 40-100%
  • Damper motor air distribution, defroster approximately 0%, floor/defroster approximately 19%, floor approximately 39%, ventilation approximately 83%.

Does damper motor work? 

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
