• Ignition off.
• Connect the connectors, install the components, etc.
• Ignition on.
• Blower motor on.

  Check that damper motor position changes by changing control on climate control module (CCM). The values given below are the standard values that the damper motor positions should give.

  NOTE:

  Blower motor must be in operation to activate the damper motors.

  • Left/right temperature damper motor and defroster, 0-100%
  • Recirculation damper motor, 40-100%
  • Floor/ventilation damper motor, floor only approximately 39%, ventilation only approximately 87% and floor/ventilation approximately 71%.

Does damper motor work? 

• YES 

  VERIFIED:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
