Checking the wiring

Check the control module (terminal #B21) and damper motor connector terminal #1. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Check for loose connections. Check for damage carefully.

Check the signal cable between control module terminal #B21 and damper motor terminal #1. Check for an intermittent open-circuit.

Check the wiring between the recirculation damper motor and the floor/ventilation damper motor (ECC), or the air distribution damper motor (MCC/STD). Check for an intermittent open-circuit.

Check the signal cable between control module terminal #B21 and damper motor terminal #1. Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
