Diagnostic trouble code information
Condition
If control unit registers that signal from evaporator temperature sensor is more than 97% of excitation voltage (approximately 5V), diagnostic trouble code CCM-0005 is displayed.
Substitute Value
- Control unit assumes a substitute value equivalent to approximately 0 °C (32°F).
Possible Source
- Signal wire has open circuit or short circuit to voltage supply
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose contact in connector
- Ground connection has open circuit or short circuit to voltage supply
- Defective evaporator temperature sensor.
Fault symptom[s]
- No cool air from A/C-system
- A/C compressor does not work or works intermittently
- Intermittent function of A/C-system.
