Climate control system, checking the function

After carrying out the repair, check that the fault no longer exists.

Perform a check of the climate control system.

• Ignition off.
• Restore components and connectors.
• Ignition switch position II.
• Set the climate control to AUTO and allow it to stabilize.
• Then go through the various settings for the climate control system using the switches on the Climate control module (CCM), see Fig 2, and allow the climate control to stabilize in each position.
• Return to AUTO and allow the vehicle to stand for a while.
• Then check that the customer symptoms no longer exist.

Click the VCT2000 symbol to check if any of the Damper motor modules (DMM) have caused a new communication error on the LIN bus. If the status is unchanged, the correct corrective action has been taken.
