Removing The Gear-Shift Position Sensor From The Gear Shift Linkage Rod

Remove:

• the lever.
• the nut, lock washer and rubber seal from the gear-shift position sensor.
• the nut for the cable duct. Lift the cable duct to one side.
• the two screws for the gear-shift position sensor. See Fig 1.

Carefully lift the sensor off the gear shift linkage rod.
