Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-810C

Condition 

The engine control module (ECM) checks the 5 volt cable which supplies components with power. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the voltage at the 5 volt cable is higher than a certain value.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• short-circuit to battery voltage in the 5 volt supply cable
• Damaged sensor connected to the 5 volt supply cable.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Poor performance.
