Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-600C

Condition

The engine control module (ECM) checks the signal cable for the turbocharger (TC) control valve.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the engine control module (ECM) detects that the voltage in the signal cable from the turbocharger (TC) control valve is too high.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed during control of the boost pressure.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
• Damaged turbocharger (TC) control valve.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
