Checking cables and connectors
Check ignition coil connector for contact resistance and oxidation Contact resistance and oxidation and loose connections according to Loose connections (terminals)
Check signal cable between ignition coil #1 and control module:
- #A31 (#A31) (ECM 3300)
- #A50 (#A50) (ECM 3310)
- #A52 (#A52) (ECM 3320)
- #A49 (#A49) (ECM 3330)
- #A30 (#A30) (ECM 3340)
- #A51 (#A51) (ECM 3350)
and power supply between system relay #3 and ignition coil #4 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults .
