Checking cables and connectors

Check Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation and loose connections according to Loose connections (terminals) . The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is integrated into the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.

Check signal cable between control module #A5 (#A5) and mass air flow (MAF) sensor connector #1 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults and an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults

Check ground lead between control module #A58 (#A58) and Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor connector #3 for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults
