Removing The Variable Valve Timing Unit / Timing Gear Pulley

Install tool 9995452 at the rear of the camshafts.

Remove: 

• the center plugs for the variable valve timing units
• the center screws for the variable valve timing unit. Pull / work off the variable valve timing units and timing gear pulley
• tool 9995452 .
