Assembling The Exhaust System

Raise the car.

Remove the seals from the exhaust system flanges.

Install new gaskets.

Lift up and push the exhaust system onto the connector at the manifold.

NOTE:

Use a mobile jack with universal plate 9995972 as a support.

Install the screws holding the front SIPS member and rear mounting on the body. Do not tighten.

Remove the mobile jack.

Install new nuts at the connection between the exhaust system and manifold.

Tighten the nuts at the exhaust system join. Tighten the screws on the front and rear SIPS members.
