Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition 

If control module receives no response from siren at repeated requests, this is understood as a communication fault and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit on UEM_K3 (serial cable between UEM, siren and sun roof).

• UEM_K3 short-circuit to ground.

• UEM_K3 short-circuit to battery voltage.

• Defect siren.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Siren does not work.
• Alarm does not work.
