Checking the wiring
- Ignition off
- Disconnect connector D on the rear electronic module (REM).
Check the signal cable. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Take readings between:
- Rear electronic module (REM) terminal #D8 (#8) and terminal #7 on the connector for the rear left-hand lamp housing
- Terminal #7 on the connector for the rear left-hand lamp housing and terminal #7 on the connector for the rear right-hand lamp housing.
Remedy as necessary.
