Replacing the component

Replace relay for "Rear fog lamp" (location 2/49) and check relay connection, in particular the relay control (2/49 2), for a short circuit to voltage supply as described in Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults .

Do the necessary corrective action

• To access/replace the relay, see Integrated relay/fusebox cargo compartment/Rear electronic module (REM), replacing .
• When relay is installed and activated, relay control voltage (2) should be 0 V.
